Louis Jadot Macon Rouge 2017
Louis Jadot Macon Rouge 'Les Roches Rouges' is a burgundy-style red made from a blend of gamay and pinot noir grapes in the Maconnais region, just south of Burgundy. The nose is juicy and rich with notes of raspberries and tart redcurrant, followed by a redfruit palate, nice and sweet, balanced by young tannins. This is best enjoyed young when it's still fresh, but can take a year or two on the shelf as well. Perfect for pairing with light meats, poultry and soft cheeses.
