Bacardi’s story started all the way back in 1862, when Don Facundo Bacardi Masso bought a small distillery in Cuba. It was here he revolutionised the process of rum production and created the smooth, light-bodied spirit that is known the world over today. 160 years later the company is still going strong.
Its premium rum collection has been barrel-aged under the Caribbean sun for at least four years. As well as the carta blanca, the spirit is also produced in spiced, raspberry and coconut varieties. There’s also the Reserva Ocho, an 8-year old rum affectionately known as the family reserve which has a deep and mellow flavour of dried fruits, spices and oaky vanilla. In addition a wide range of dark rums complete the line-up.
